I have had an above ground pool for 5 years no and have always used the pole and vac head to do the cleaning. My kids usually did the cleaning but now that they are out of the house it has become a bit of a pain. We started doing our research on some alternative options and found the polaris cleaner... with free shipping! seemed like an offer too good to be true so we purchased the cleaner. We are overall very happy with the cleaner and have more time to enjoy the pool rather than clean it. I will say though that it is a little hard to control the pressure. after some trial and error we just keep it on the lowest setting- still does the job great. Also, from what i have been told this product may be better for smaller pools.
