Directions for use:
Maintain daily recommended levels as determined by testing kit. Bromine 3.0 - 5.0ppm pH: 7.2 - 7.8 Total Alkalinity: 100 - 120 ppm Calcium Hardness: 150 - 200 ppm
Add Bromine Salt to spa water as directed.
Treat a freshly filled spa by adding 125g of this product per 1000 L of spa water to release bromine sanitizer from the bromide salt solution of Bromide Salt. Maintain water circulation at least 30 minutes before using.
Maintain the proper bromine residual by adding daily, 30g of this product per 1000 L of spa water, or as needed.
Persistent foam formation, turbid or malodorous water, are indicators of inadequate sanitizer levels. To correct such conditions, shock spa water by adding 125g of this product per 1000 L. Maintain circulation at least 30 minutes and wait 4 hours before using.
For proper sanitization, the must be completely drained periodically. The number of days between COMPLETE SPA DRAINAGE is equal to the volume of spa water in liters, divided by 10 times the Maximum Number of daily spa users. Refill spa with water and repeat previous steps.
Maximum spa water usage temperature is 40°C. Duration is spa water at 40°C should not exceed 15 minutes.
Precautions:
Keep out of reach of children
Strong oxidizing agent. May cause Fire or Explosion if contaminated
Do not mix with any other chemical
Avoid contact with skin and eyes
Harmful if swallowed
Keep container closed and store in a cool, dry location
Rinse the container thoroughly before discarding. Do not reuse

No — Bromide Booster does not sanitize water on its own. It provides the bromide reserve that must be converted into active sanitizer. You still need to: Shock/oxidize after use to activate bromide into bromine Maintain target sanitizer levels (Free bromine: 3.0 – 5.0 ppm for spas, 1.0 – 3.0 ppm for pools) Keep other water chemistry balanced (pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness) Proper shock and sanitizer levels ensure your bromine system works effectively.
Yes — it’s suitable for: Bromine‑sanitized spas/hot tubs Bromine systems for pools Saltwater systems that use bromine electrodes However, Bromide Booster is not necessary or effective in systems that rely solely on direct chlorine sanitation — it specifically supports bromine generation cycles.
Use Bromide Booster when: First starting a bromine system (initial setup) After draining and refilling your spa or pool If your bromine levels are low and won’t stay within the target range After heavy use or shock treatments that reduce bromide reserves When water has been diluted (e.g., top‑ups or rainwater)
Bromide Booster is a chemical additive used in bromine‑sanitized spa and pool systems to establish or replenish the bromide ion reserve in the water. Bromide ions are inactive until they are converted into active bromine sanitizer by oxidation (typically through chlorine shock or an oxidizer). Adding Bromide Booster gives the system the “raw material” it needs to generate effective sanitizer levels. In a bromine system, the sanitizer isn’t added directly — instead, bromide ions in the water are activated to create bromine when an oxidizer (such as chlorine or non‑chlorine shock) is added. Bromide Booster ensures enough bromide is present so your system works efficiently and consistently.
